Success in diagnosing today's high-tech systems requires a similarly high-tech approach. This popular course covers the tools you need to cope with modern troubleshooting challenges. You'll also learn to develop a diagnostic process and game plan. Technicians will learn how to use the tools provided by the OEMs, including ECM strategies, code setting criteria, PID analysis and fuel trim interpretation. In addition, this course discusses batteries, including coding and reprogramming, parasitic draw, voltage drop, engine testing, compression/relative compression testing, cylinder leakdown, gas analysis, fuel flow testing, fuel trims, current ramping, PCM testing, pressure transducers, reprogramming and a new way to test EVAP.
