Next Level Electrical Troubleshooting I & II - Live Webinar

Ever feel that you could be a better electrical diagnostician than you are today? You’re not alone. Most technicians feel exactly the same way. But never fear—help is here! Join Dorman Training Center instructor Pete Meier as he teaches you how to take on electrical faults. Learn what you don’t know about voltage, current and resistance and how they interact, and see how to use your digital voltmeter in ways you may have never thought of before. This class is part theory and part practical demonstration to help you make these skills your own. And once you do, you’ll be the go-to tech in your shop whenever an electrical concern pulls in.

In part two of this series, Dorman Training Center instructor Pete Meier teaches voltage drop testing and how to perform effective tests on a sample circuit. He will also show examples of common failure readings and you’ll diagnose system faults. In addition, Pete will demonstrate examples of proper ECU testing before condemning the component and the use of current as a diagnostic aid.
